The Children's Pastors will provide leadership and curriculum assistance to the Impact Kids Department to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the overall operations of Impact Church. To be the first point of contact for all internal and external operations of Impact Kids.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Experience in problem solving

  • Supervise multiple projects effectively

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills

  • A love and calling toward ministry to children and families

  • Ability to learn and use Planning Center

  • Experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with a particular emphasis on follow-through and attention to detail

  • Ability to think and act independently with a high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality

  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, probe for understanding, and work in collaboration with others to achieve desired results.

  • Must be a strong communicator with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledgeable and functional in technical writing, including consistent and correct use of tense, grammar/spelling and terminology that is interesting and varied

  • Strong proof-reading skills to produce error-free documents


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Writing and brainstorming new material for the Family Devotionals

  • Writing small group material questions

  • Oversee all operations of IK at Impact, ensuring the success of the Sunday experience

  • Serve as a primary communicator to IK on Sundays

  • Respond to emergencies/urgent issues as they arise

  • Respond to emails and phone call within 24 -hour time frame

  • Work with Dream Team Coordinator to build the Impact IK Dream Team

  • Answer general phone calls and emails in reference to IK

  • Participate in weekly department meetings to discuss enhancing the Sunday experience and upcoming events

  • Oversee all programming and ministry for children ages 6 years – 5th grade, including Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, Summer Blast, and special events


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Running miscellaneous errands for IK

  • Researching & implanting upcoming curriculum during seasons we use out-of-house material
